Принц Гарри и Меган Маркл потратили на ремонт загородной резиденции более трех миллионов долларов.

Британцы не в восторге от того, что более трех миллионов долларов, большая часть которых взяты из казны, ушла на ремонт Фрогмор-хауса, сообщает СтарХит. Как стало известно, в особняке появились новые оранжереи, гардеробные, модные печи и управляемое оборудование.

О реконструкции Фрогмор-коттеджа в Виндзоре западные СМИ сообщали еще в начале июня. Соответствующую заявку в совет района подали герцоги Сассекские принц Гарри и Меган Маркл.

Предполагалось поменять двери, стены и окна здания. Герцоги также намерены были установить в саду освещение и обновить хозяйственные постройки.

24 июня представители Букингемского дворца опубликовали сумму расходов на реконструкцию резиденции. Как оказалось, ремонт особняка обошелся казне примерно в три миллиона долларов вместо ранее заявленных 1,9 миллиона долларов.
